Why is science communication important to you personally?

Science is complicated - even for scientists! That's why we need science communicators to peel away the technical jargon and reveal the core question at the heart of every scientific endeavor: why does this discovery matter? My goal as a science writer is to answer that question in a way that resonates with every one of us. We use science every single day. But science doesn't sit still — it's always evolving. I hope to make the latest science accessible and empowering to all.
