Oatology: noun, the study of Oat Milk.
This is Sandra Tsing Loh with the Loh Down on Science saying…
Not really, but considering cow milk’s uh – side effects – it’s worth looking into alternatives. But which makes the best foam in your morning latte?
Lena Hassan and team from the University of Illinois, Chicago drank it all in.
They tested six different plant-based milks with an electric frother. With a foam analyzer and a homemade “fizz-ics scope,” they compared each milk’s foamability.
And? Cow milk reigns supreme for hot foam, but for COLD foam? Oat, soy, and almond milk actually outperform it. And the overall plant-based MVP? Oat milk!
So try an iced latte with oat milk! It’s clinically proven!
