Biography
Before entering the hive, Dhruba was a mild mannered kid from techie San Jose, California. He lived in India and Portugal before moving to Irvine to start his MD-PhD. His research involves brain plasticity, vision, and spatial cognition. When not in the lab or writing for the hive, he likes to travel and attend concerts.
Why is science communication important to you personally?
The jolt of new discovery is unmistakable. As a scientist I get to enjoy this feeling regularly. But we are all curious creatures and I want to share the satisfaction of discovery with anyone who cares to listen!
