Biography
Quang Pham is a graduate research assistant in Dr. Yoonjin Won’s laboratory in the School of Engineering at UCI. He’s researching ways to cool overheating microelectronics for military and commercial applications. One of his solutions focuses on flowing water through a metallic sponge that he designed. Prior to arriving at UCI, Quang grew carbon nanotube arrays and examined them as thermal interface materials.
Why is science communication important to you personally?
I think it’s a fun and challenging task to accurately convey the technical information as accessible knowledge. It’s also a great way to improve my writing skill and style.
