Why is science communication important to you personally?
As a researcher, none of the work I do matters if the people it is meant to help don't know about it or understand it. In 5 -10 years, I hope science communication is a central part of my career, not only to share my research in an accessible way, but also to hear and learn from the communities it is designed to serve.
