Samantha Leigh, former Hiver and currently Assistant Professor at CSU Dominguez Hills, has recently published a kids book with the STEM Taught foundation!

Samantha says:

When I was writing for The Loh Down on Science (over two years ago now!), Sandra suggested that us, writers, submit a story to STEM Taught as a SciComm exercise. Well, I did, and now it has been published by the STEM Taught Foundation!

All proceeds from book purchases go towards the Foundation to provide the book to K5 schools in low-income areas, as well as to a new initiative to help illiterate parents and their children learn to read together.
