Clock Watchers

Up in age, but young at heart!

This is Sandra Tsing Loh with the Loh Down on Science.

Aging is about how well your body and mind hold up over time. How do we measure that?

Enter Matías Fuentealba and team at the Buck Institute. They developed a blood test that checks your DNA for physical and mental resilience.

This test can tell who may live longer, healthier lives. It can also predict age related inflammation from certain proteins.

Wow – a simple blood test that can estimate not only how long you’ll live, but how WELL you’ll live.

This opens doors to personalized aging plans that will help keep us around – stronger and longer! To hector our children, and their children, and their children.
