The Loh Down on Science is proud to announce that writer and Managing Editor, Maureen Purcell, has been awarded a fellowship!
As a Division of Teaching Excellence and Innovation (DTEI) Fellow, Maureen will receive training in evidence-based teaching strategies and the unique tools and techniques for making high quality remote learning experiences. She’ll assist UCI faculty in developing functional, interactive, and universally accessible online course spaces to enhance learning experiences.
Maureen, who has Certificate in Teaching Excellence from DTEI, is excited to expand her pedagogical practice in a way that tangibly helps faculty and makes online learning effective — and hopefully fun! — for UCI students.
